VIDEO: Deputies: Hwy. 17 at Main Rd. to remain closed

[People on Johns Island got a glimpse at normalcy
Saturday afternoon when Main Road and
thereafter Chisolm Rd. was closed... along with their
low riding bridge.
Now, It's closed at 6 p.m. for high tide.

You'll have to check your tide chart
if you need to go to work or school.

Some crews were pumping the water as high-tide
approached,
the water was coming too fast so....they laid down
50 pounds bags of concrete to create a wall that
might wash some of the concrete down the
sewer to cause blockage? What?
The road is not permanently open...again didn't they just
have a similar issue....storm that flooded and cause the
Limehouse bridge to close/opened, or is it,
open/close etc....oh yea, it's
called high tide...low tide! klsb 10/8/2015]
